Classic Strategy · 1v1
Barricade is a 9×9 race of pure position. You and your opponent each start on the centre square of your own baseline with ten barricades in reserve, and the first pawn to reach any square of the opposite row wins immediately.
It is competitive because nothing is hidden and nothing is drawn: both pawns, every placed barricade and both reserves are public at all times, so a win is planning and reading the opponent and nothing else. Every move is validated by the server from its own frozen position.

Barricade tests planning, spatial reading and nerve. It is a perfect-information game with no randomness anywhere, the winner is derived server-side from the position, and a ranked online result moves your own Barricade Elo and trophy ladder — so the ladder measures the decisions you made and nothing else.
Ranked matches are 1v1 against another player and count toward this game's own Elo rating and trophy ladder. Nothing is wagered — you just have to be better.
